Arnel Pineda is Arnel Pineda is a Filipino musician and singer who made waves in the Philippines during the 1890s . He was also a star internationally in 2007 when he was the brand-new lead singer of the American rock band Journey. Arnel is 54 years old at the time of 2021, he was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on September 5, 1967, in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. The family was left with debt after his mother's passing. His father, who was six months behind in rent payment and unable financially to support his family, requested his relatives to take in Arnel. He slept wherever he could at parks, in the streets, and on the narrow benches of houses. He took glass bottles and newspapers, and then sold the bottles to recyclers. Arnel was also a part-time worker, doing odd jobs, such as cleaning scrap metal or docking ships. Cherry Pineda is Arnel's wife. The couple tied the knot in the year 2001. Together, they have had two children: a daughter (Thea Chenelle Pineda) and a son (Cherub). Arnel has two children of his own: Matthew and Angelo.
